USS S-27 (SS-132)

 

USS S-27 was lost when she ran aground on June 19, 1942, off the coast of Amchitka Island, with no loss of life. 

The following former crew member of USS S-27 (SS-132) was lost in an airplane accident two months after the grounding and loss of the vessel.
